"The Family That Eats Soil" seeks to paint a dystopian portrait, a phantasmagoric reversal of Filipino values. It is an allegory for a people still walking and breathing under an unending nightmare.

A crisp, 75-minute hyper-condensed punk-trash take on Philippine family politics. At times it plays like a de-Pasolinized version of Takashi Miike's Visitor Q, at others like an absurdist experimental bomba flick.
