Han-soo is only a high school student but he must grow up fast. A talented swimmer, he is under pressure to make the Olympic team. But that changes when his mom tries to kill herself and goes into a coma. After he fails to rob a liquor store to pay for his mother’s medical bills, he quits the swim team.

In his mother’s suicide letter, she leaves his father’s address. Han-soo doesn’t have the courage to confront the father he has never met. Instead, he develops a sexual relationship with the woman next door. She is twice his age, but she is the only source of comfort in his chaotic life.
