Jump

“Jump” is the story of the oddest sport in America. For almost 100 years, thousands have gathered in Calaveras County to compete for length. The length of their leaping frog. The sport is “Frog Jumping”. It's not only real, it's been around since 1928.

This bizarre story tracks down the origins of this American oddity, which was given birth by Mark Twain. Frog jockeys discuss the sweat and sacrifice they dedicate to this unique athletic passion. We follow triumph and defeat in what is perhaps the most unique American pastime.
