Cats of Rome

Over 200,000 stray cats now live in Rome, descendants of Egyptian cats brought there 3,000 years ago. These stray cats are not wild, but need human help to survive. However, some Romans consider them equal to rodents. This film documents six months at an Italian cat sanctuary, where it's a never ending struggle for the cats and the people who take care of them.
