“Beneath The Flesh” is a collection of nightmares that will crawl under your skin and burrow it’s way into your mind.
In “Id”, a man is tormented by love and a twisted creature in his apartment. In “The Basement”, two men confront each other in a damp, filthy basement. In “The Child”, a withered man nurtures a growing creature. In “The Insides”, a man believes something is growing inside him. Finally, in “Boxhead”, an old man is visited by a childhood friend that could be his darkest nightmare.
The victim in each story is forced to confront a fear that is eating them from the inside out. Their choice? Deal with the fear or die with it.

SEVEN SERVANTS |
|
Directors: Daryush Shokof
Cast: Anthony Quinn, David Warner, Sonja Kirchberger, Alexandra Stewart, Audra McDonald
Archie (Anthony Quinn) is a rich old man who lives alone with his maid Anya; he is philosophical, funny, and yet "incomplete" as a creature. He longs for affection, the true sensation of becoming "one" with all the creatures on the planet… he finds peace only when his body is energized by love and positive energy from others… he sees the "incomplete" state as an illness and is determined to cure himself. This will require infusing his body with energy.
To do this Archie hires four servants from different parts of the world to fill his four facial openings. Although each servant places an index finger in his ears and nostrils, Archie asks Blade (his longtime friend) and Hilda (his true love) to help complete the process.
The symbolism expresses the true meaning of the film when at the end it reveals that Archie reaches his final wish…"Unity Till The Last Breath."
Selected for Locarno (Competition and Special Event of Closing Night at the Grand Piazza), Toronto, Montreal, Berlin, Kiev, Thessaloniki, Delhi, Cairo and many other international festivals.
"No one can wipe these amazing visuals off my mind... it is a shame for [our] culture that Seven Servants is still nowhere to be seen"

Ahmad Mahmoud (1931-2002) was a leading Iranian novelist who, over his fifty-year career, published nine short story collections and six novels, including The Native Boy (1972), The Strangers (1972) and The Neighbors (1974).
His writing reflects his political engagement, his concern for the poor and the working class, and his love for his native region of Khuzestan. Mahmoud testifies eloquently to all these concerns in lengthy, and moving, on-camera interviews. This portrait of a well-loved and incredibly talented writer, later overlooked as anti-revolutionary, attests to the extreme difficulties often faced by Iranian writers.

"Dutch
Junkies" is two stories about addiction.
Teenage girls obsessed with chat rooms
and senior citizens on hard drugs.
In "Emoticons", Saskia is tormented at school
and only finds comfort in violent videogames. Sanne writes
poetry about her loneliness on the web. Samantha, a rape
victim, gives other rape victims advice. The three girls
cannot live without chat rooms. The computer is their "daily
food". They have submerged themselves in a virtual
world that has become more important than the ordinary
one.
In "There Goes My Heart",
we enter the first home for elderly drug addicts in
the Netherlands. These four men and three women have
done hard drugs for over 40 years. The home porvides
them with a room and free drugs. Each addict has lost
something significant: the love of their life, contact
with friends and family but mainly, they've lost touch
with their own feelings. This story portrays their
helpless attachment to the illusion that one day their
lives will improve.

AHLAAM
(Utopia) |
|
Director: Mohamed
Al-Daradji
Cast: Aseel
Adel, Bashiral-Majid, Mohammed Hashim
Director
Mohamed Al-Daradji
literally risked life
and limb to bring you
the only film about
the Iraq War told from
the Iraqi point of
view. A film Variety
calls "an ambitious
work that's both harrowing
and beautiful". "Ahlaam" is
the tale of three patients
in a Baghdad mental
institution running
through rioting streets
after their hospital
is decimated.
The
filmmaker had a camera in one hand and an AK-47 in
the other. His crew was beaten and lined up to be shot
by the insurgents, interrogated by American Soldiers,
his 14 year old boom man was shot in the leg and someone
from the cast was kidnapped. Somehow, the footage survived
and has evolved into a powerful, bone chilling story
of human beings struggling to make sense of unimaginable
circumstances.
"Apocalypse
Now and Deer Hunter are masterpieces that can be watched
time and time again from the safe position of it being
historical. But Iraq is a tragedy still unfolding,
potentially set to be replicated in neighboring countries,
It's rare that cinema is so relevant and vital, [the
filmmaker] deserves every support in getting this film
to the widest possible audience" -Netribution.

ELEVATOR
MOVIE |
|
Director: Zeb
Haradon
Cast: Zeb
Haradon, Robin Ballard
Jim is a shy,
withdrawn loner, pervert and virgin.
Lana is a friendly and outgoing born
again Christian who has renounced her
promiscuous drug filled past. They have
never met until they step into an elevator
together one day. The elevator gets stuck
between floors, and they start to get
to know each other. A building maintenance
man assures them over the elevator's
emergency intercom that a repairman is
on the way. Hours, days, weeks, and months
pass, and no repairmen arrive. Jim and
Lana spend their days screaming into
the intercom trying to get the maintenance
guy to answer again. He doesn't.
Starvation
is not a problem, as Lana entered the elevator with
a bag full of groceries, which is mysteriously found
to be filled with fresh food every morning. After enough
time passes, Jim gives up hope of escape and resigns
himself to building a new life in the elevator with Lana,
who he sees as his first girlfriend. Lana on the other
hand desperately wants to escape, and clings to her faith
in God to provide them with an opening of the elevator
doors. Eventually, a reluctant and desperate romance
begins--
Clearly
inspired by early Lynch, Buñuel, Cronenberg, and
even the recent work of James Fotopoulos. And if you know
anything at all about any of these filmmakers you'll rightly
conclude that Elevator Movie firmly belongs under
that prickliest of classifications:Not For Everyone. -FILM THREAT

WAITING
FOR NESARA |

Director: Zeb
Haradon
Cast: The
Members of the Salt Lake City, Utah "Open Mind
Forum"
September
11, 2001. Salt Lake
City, Utah. A messianic
group called "The
Open Mind Forum" awaits
the implementation
of NESARA, a
secret law 100 years
in the making. Once
implemented, NESARA
will abolish the IRS,
remove George W.Bush
from office, expose
Bush as a reptilian
alien, and install
a UFO-flying Jesus
as America's new leader.
NESARA
was already delayed as a result of 9/11. If Bush declares
war with Iraq, there's no telling how much further
this crucial law will be denied. "The Open Mind
Forum" must
channel all their faith and prayers toward the desperate
hope that their UFO allies will intervene this war, thereby
establishing NESARA and delivering us peace and harmony
on Earth.
"Unbelievably outrageous, supremely
ridiculous, absolutely f***ing crazy.
What Haradon captures on film is truly fascinating."

Forget the hanging chads and butterfly ballots. The
Presidential 2000 election is still a mystery to most
Americans. What actually happened with the 180,000 uncounted
Florida votes that would have elected Vice President
Al Gore? And who was responsible for the injustice? Was
it the disorganized media or the irresponsible state
of Florida?
"Recount Democracy" investigates
charges of disenfranchisement, racial exclusion, voting
rights violations and the subverting of a recount in
the most contested and controversial election in U.S.
history. Nearly a decade later, the story every American
must know is told in unflinching detail.

Sergeant
Alvarez has only four weeks to train a group of men into
soldiers. But the typical training methods do not work
with these recruits. That's because the recruits are Iraqis.
They don't speak a word of English. They don't understand
commands or swear words. They refuse to shave their mustaches,
let alone their entire heads. Meanwhile, outside the base,
the insurgency is raging.
How do American soldiers mold Iraqi Soldiers? How do
they train Iraqis to storm an insurgent stronghold? This
fascinating documentary follows the making of an army,
an Iraqi Army that fights for America, a key to America's
success during this endless war. This story asks, can
an Iraqi Army be built to support America?
